Bela Lugosi was the first great vampire on film. Famous the world over for his role as Dracula in the 1931 Hollywood film by the same name, Lugosi later died in 1956. When he died, he had taken such pride in his role as the blood-sucking vampire that he was buried in the full costume from the film. While most of the copy was the exact one used while actually filming, the cape was actually a replica.
